Be a Part of a Team!

Christ Community International travels to Christ Community Lutheran School - Kawete, Uganda, twice yearly. The trips are scheduled according to team member availability.  Our next trip is scheduled for April 14th-26th, 2026.

General Information:
Participants must be 16 years of age with a parent/18 or older to travel alone
Trips are typically 10 to 12 days
The travel time is approximately 33 hours, door to door
Total Trip Cost averages $2300 (airfare, lodging, food, extras)
A Uganda Visa is $50
The traveler must have a passport that does not expire earlier than six months from the date of the trip
We partner with the Lutheran Church of Uganda in all activities
Participants are required to attend ALL pre-trip meetings

Recommended Vaccinations (4 to 6 weeks in advance):
Typhoid  (Oral or Injectable)
Yellow Fever 
​Hepatitis A/B
Polio 
Tetanus-diphtheria booster within 5 years of trip to Uganda
Meningococcal meningitis vaccine (Menactra)
 
*International mission trips can be taxing on even the hardiest individuals. 
Applicants need to be able to walk one half mile over uneven ground surfaces and manage their own luggage.
