Thanks for your prayers as we prepare to visit Kawete, Uganda and share the love of Christ!
I woke up this morning after a gloriously long night's sleep with a "lump" in my throat; oh how I miss our Uganda friends when we return home. It is a long, exhausting process to get there (and back) but I would go again tomorrow.
Thank you for all the prayers and donations for this trip. Many beautiful things were accomplished in the name of Jesus. God is good, all the time - All the time God is good!

What a wonderful week! Today was packed with Bible Studies and chicken coop construction. Everyone worked hard and had fun. The beautiful people of Uganda have once again touched our hearts in ways we could only imagine. Their faith and joy is contagious. Here are the best pictures from today - there are too many to share!!!!
This has happened each time we have visited; there never seems to be enough time.
We will be leading 4 Bible Studies tomorrow as well as seeing patients in the clinic and lots of "lovin'" on the kiddos. We started the day by touring the new Lutheran Church of Uganda Theological Seminary. What a blessing to the church. The 27 men who are studying to be pastors are going to be a blessing to Uganda and beyond. Today we met with and took pictures and videos of ALL of the sponsored children. They are so appreciative of the love, prayers and sponsorship. Their smiles are contagious and tell us they are so happy to be in school. Oh, and the chicken coop is coming along beautifully thanks to Brian and Rob! This happens every time - it's Thursday and we leave the village Saturday morning. We have so many more things to do and, magically, it will all happen. Today we will gather with more sponsored children to connect with them for their sponsors, medical care, girls' dorm Bible Study, continue to build the chicken coop, tour the new Lutheran Theological College and continue to love all over these people. Have a beautiful day at home and we'll send pictures later.
The pictures tell the whole story! Thanks for the prayers and support while we visit and love these beautiful people!!!!!!!!!
We have had a wonderful Tuesday in Kawete! Boys' Dormitory Bible study about David and Goliath, meeting new students to sponsor, treating many patients, and many, many more activities. Here is a peak into this wonderful place -
Best laid plans... We had hoped to blog from this website while in Uganda starting a few days ago but had some technical difficulties. So sorry... We have been able to post on Facebook but not here - until tonight!!!!!
We have a lovely team of eight enjoying the relationship building, Gospel spreading and infrastructure improving opportunities we have had. Today's Bible study with the Nursery students, led by Madison Butterfield, was well received. The children thoroughly enjoyed the story of Noah, coloring pictures of Noah praising God, using animal stickers to embellish their art and playing with Little People Noah's Arks donated by individuals back home!!!! Here are some pix: all 26 bags and 8 people made it! We had a great day at CCLS-U today but are having some trouble loading our photos. We'll try again tomorrow after some sleep.
